Hotel De Gouden Leeuw is the first hotel of the Van der Valk concern and is located in a true Valk village. On the site is not only the hotel with 96 rooms, but also Ivy Boutique Wellness with swimming pool, fitness, sauna and treatment rooms, Tante Tokkie, which consists of a nature farm, ice cream parlour and restaurant and the Valk Versmarkt. A temporary Valk restaurant will also be opened in June.
For the hotel reception we are looking for an ENTHUSIASTIC RECEPTIONIST M/F. You will work in the building where the hotel rooms are located.
Our old main building (which has been closed since a fire in July 2021) will be demolished at the end of this year, after which a completely new building will be built with luxury hotel rooms, (meeting) rooms and restaurants. A nice prospect!
As a business card for our hotel, you are the guest's first point of contact. Your duties and responsibilities will be:
• Renting out free rooms after consulting the IDPMS reservation system;
• Welcoming, meeting and checking in guests on the basis of reservations;
• Recording details/wishes of guests and passing them on to the relevant departments;
• Checking out of guests, drawing up bills and paying by means of a cash payment or payment with pin/credit card;
• Taking reservations for the hotel as well as the restaurant and wellness;
• Providing general tourist information
