A natural playground stimulates the senses of children, stimulates their physical development and improves their social skills. In addition, playing in nature increases the fantasy and creativity of children. And it makes them aware of their surroundings, nature and the environment.
At the playground children can:
- play in a safe outside environment
- get to know nature in a playful way
- develop a positive attitude towards flora and fauna
- discover and pushing boundaries
Accessible to everyone:
The Natuurspeeltuin Voorschoten is open to everyone: young and old, small and large. Four of the five playing fields are also accessible to children in a wheelchair, because of the construction of (semi) paved paths, wide bridges and a wide tunnel. In addition, the parts that can be operated, such as the water pumps and music poles, are at wheelchair height. And of course there will be an adapted toilet on the premises.
Take a look at the map of the playground here.
The Natuurspeeltuin Voorschoten is open every day:
April till October: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
November till March: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
